Founded in 1992, Action Glass was established with the vision of providing quick, reliable, and high-quality glazing services. The name Action Glass reflects our core philosophy — to take action.

The founder learned the glazing trade in his hometown of Chicago, where he became the youngest branch manager at a Chicago based regional glass company. After years of mastering the trade, he decided to open Action Glass in South Bend, Indiana to be closer to family. Action Glass has always been a family business.

Kara Poracky has been learning the business from her father since she was a little girl. She returned home from the big city in 2018 to help with the family business, continuing the legacy of service and craftsmanship. Kara has been actively managing several core aspects of the business for several years.

Action Glass has a long-standing history of serving South Bend and the surrounding communities. It’s a legacy we are proud of and committed to continuing well into the future.
